Blue Springs High School is excited to announce the 2011 Golden Regiment Fall Field Production:  “Carved in Stone.”  The production is based on the imagery, mystery, intrigue and legend of the angelic statues that protect the great cathedrals and the battles that occur during the midnight hour.   The audience will hear a variety of melodies  and rhythmic motivs based on the musical scores of: St. Michael the Archangel from the Church Windows Four Symphonic Impressions Symphony by Ottorino Respighi, Cannon in Dby Johann Pachelbel,  and The Prayer made famous by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli as well as a variety of original music. The haunting Pachelbel theme will be intertwined throughout the entire show.  The production will take the audience on an emotional and adventurous journey through the majestic and historic Roman Cathedrals; which are enraptured with midnight battles when the stone sculptures come to life.
